Tom Ingui, FPC organist, has been selected to compete in the International Organ Competition of St-Maurice. The competition is held biannually at the Abbey of Saint-Maurice in Switzerland. This is the 12th competition and will be held from August 1-10.
Competitors must be of ages 32 or younger and were selected by submitting a 15-minute video of organ music. There are three rounds which will be judged by a jury of seven internationally recognized organists from America, Germany, France, and Switzerland.
The competition will also include a master class and organ recitals by members of the jury. The top three competitors will play in the final round. All three will receive prizes with the first price including $12,500 and various concert engagements across Europe.
