The Session
The word presbyterian comes from a Greek word meaning elder. Ruling elders combined with teaching elders (pastors) form the top leadership of the church. All ministry is the ultimate responsibility of these elders as they meet together in a gathering called the Session. Each ruling elder serves three years in the role and is placed into one of three groups named by their final year of service. The work of the Session is divided into committees, i.e., worship, property, or discipleship. Each committee has elders, staff, and others from the congregation who do the work of ministry leadership.

AFFILIATIONS
We are a member church of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) denomination, one of the Reformed theological traditions of the Christian church. We are also active in the Fellowship Community, a network of churches and leaders called together to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ by growing in Christ’s likeness, living by God’s Word, and joining in God’s mission in the world.
