“Surrender” Student Life Ministries (Grades 6-12)
Surrender Student Life Ministry is passionate about seeing students engage with their faith and learn what it means to follow Jesus Christ. Our goal is to walk alongside students and to help them understand who God is no matter where they are in their faith journey – whether they are seeking Christ, a new believer, or surging toward maturity in the things of God.
We welcome all students and invite them to come as they are, but we hope that they don’t stay as they are. It is our desire for all students to be constantly growing in their relationship with Jesus, and as a result, to be working for the good of others, for their own personal joy and, ultimately, for God’s glory.
We love to have fun, and we provide plenty of opportunities for students to enjoy themselves. We do always place a high value on discipleship, and on equipping students with the necessary spiritual tools via Bible comprehension, prayer, small groups, praise and worship and serving the local and global community.
Our hope is that students embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ and all the implications it has on their lives.
We hope that through their involvement in our programs, students will come to embrace the following habits and traits:
- Development of personal spiritual disciplines
- Encouragement of one another
- Sacrificial service of those God has placed in their lives
- Development of relationships as a community of believers
- Enjoyment of Jesus’ call to an adventure-filled life
|Sunday School||9:15 to 10:15 a.m.|
|Sunday Night Bible Study*||6 – 8 p.m.|
|Wednesday Night Gathering Time||6 – 8 p.m.|
*Our Sunday night Bible study time is an intentional Bible study for high school students that requires a commitment from each student to the group. The group works through various book studies, has fun together, and forms a closer-knit community of individuals centered around their faith in Jesus. Anyone interested in the study should contact Brian.
