Grow your relationship with Jesus
Our mission in Surrender Student Life Ministry is to make and mature followers of Jesus Christ during the transitional middle school and high school years.
Surrender Student Life Ministry is passionate about seeing students engage with their faith and learn what it means to follow Jesus Christ.
We have five major anchors of the Surrender Student Life Ministry:
- Family Focused
- Transparent Life
Our mission, as it is with First Presbyterian Church (FPC), is to make and mature disciples for Christ. Our vision is to equip students with a firm biblical worldview through interactive teaching, community, adult mentors, and engaged parents.
We welcome all students and invite them to come as they are, but we hope that they don’t stay as they are. It is our desire for all students to be constantly growing in their relationship with Jesus, and as a result, to be working for the good of others, for their own personal joy and, ultimately, for God’s glory.

We believe that it is important to practice the love of Christ in practical ways, so we provide students with opportunities for service, both locally and abroad. Students participating in mission trips have a meaningful (and fun) time serving in a variety of capacities.
First Presbyterian Church supports our college students through funding provided by the Morrison Endowment and the Grady Endowment Scholarship Program. We have been providing scholarships through these endowments for more than 20 years.
