Feeding Those in Need

Feeding Those in Need

No One Deserves To Be Hungry

Our mission work does not stop but accelerates during difficult times. FPC has committed to:

First Presbyterian Church is pleased to partner with KidsPACK, a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding 1,800 food insecure children in Polk County every week. Volunteers pack take-home food at the church and deliver the food-filled backpacks to a local elementary school each Thursday. Contact nbertram@fpclakeland.org for more information.

Beth-El Farmworker Ministry is a mission in Hillsborough County that assists the Hispanic Farmworkers and their families. FPC has been distributing food to 780 families on Tuesdays. In addition, they also need packers and sorters every day to prepare for the increase of families coming during this time of Covid-19 pandemic.

Migrant children in Mulberry are also in need of help. Working in conjunction with a Polk County School program, FPC has committed to helping with food and other needs to these children and their families.

Please provide monetary donations or contact our Missions Coordinator, Nancy Bertram at nancy@fpclakeland.org, for ways that you can help.
