Feeding Those in Need

Feeding Those in Need

No One Deserves To Be Hungry

Our mission work does not stop but accelerates during difficult times. FPC has committed to:

KidsPACK is a nonprofit organization dedicated to feeding 1,800 food insecure children in Polk County every week. They are in need of 9 volunteers per session to pack the food. They are observing all the rules about social distancing, gloves, and masks.

Volunteers may sign up for KidsPACK on their own for any Monday session from 10 am to 12 pm by clicking the link below.

Beth-El Farmworker Ministry is a mission in Hillsborough County that assists the Hispanic Farmworkers and their families. FPC has been distributing food to 780 families on Tuesdays. In addition, they also need packers and sorters every day to prepare for the increase of families coming during this time of Covid-19 pandemic.

Migrant children in Mulberry are also in need of help. Working in conjunction with a Polk County School program, FPC has committed to helping with food and other needs to these children and their families.

Please provide monetary donations or contact our Missions Coordinator, Nancy Bertram at nancy@fpclakeland.org, for ways that you can help.
