Can we really be like Jesus?
Jesus invited His followers to emulate Him and to discover a way of life and of relating to God that is astounding.
If that’s true, can we pray like Jesus? Can we dare to believe that Jesus was showing us that the kind of prayer life that He enjoyed with His Heavenly Father is also available to us?
We are all at different places on our journey with Jesus. Regardless of where you find yourself, the Pathways Prayer Journey will offer an opportunity to learn more and deepen your relationship with God. It will also unite us as a church family as we learn to pray with and for each other as our friends and neighbors who do not know Christ.
1. Weekly Personal Reading & Prayer Guide
The weekly guide will include Bible passages, selected readings and prayer practices that will guide us to both understand and practice the various pathways of prayer. To receive the weekly emails, contact Pastor Kenny Ellis.
2. Pathways Class
There will be a Sunday morning and Wednesday evening class during which we will explore the weekly prayer focus at a deeper level.

3. Church-Wide Prayer Opportunities
We want FPC to be a community that prays together. To that end, the Pathways Journey will include large-group prayer gatherings, a neighborhood prayer walk, and a half day prayer retreat.
