Night to Shine Prom Parade – Thursday, February 10
To create fun and excitement around the virtual event, we pleased to host a Night to Shine Prom Parade on Thursday, February 10. There guests will travel outside across the FPC campus to different stations, including karaoke, inflatables, guest performers, and more! At the parade, guests will be crowned, pinned with corsages or boutonnieres, have their picture taken and travel around the FPC campus. They will also pick up their Guest Prom Experience boxes that will include fun items for them to use while watching the virtual Night to Shine event on Friday, February 11.
Night to Shine – Friday, February 11
The Special Needs Ministry at First Presbyterian Church is pleased to host Night to Shine for the seventh year. As each of us have been living with the new reality of the global circumstances of the COVID-19 virus, the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF) has chosen to provide Night to Shine as a Virtual event in 2022.
The event will be on the evening of Friday, February 11, 2022. We feel that the best way to honor and love our guests is to forego an in-person prom in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. We are incredibly disappointed that we are unable to celebrate each of our amazing Kings and Queens in person this year, but we are committed to throwing one spectacular, safe, virtual celebration in their honor.
INFORMATION FOR GUESTS & PARENTS
Individuals with special needs who are 14 and older as of February 11, 2022, are invited to be our guest and be a part of a fabulous and unforgettable prom night experience centered in God’s love.
To participate in the event, you will need:
If you do not have a computer or mobile device or someone to help you pick up your box, we will find a way to help you get connected and to receive your Guest Experience Box.
Once we have our maximum capacity of 200 Guests, we will open up a Guest Wait List. You can register for the Guest Wait list here. You will be contacted if there is an opening. There is also a new opportunity this year. The First Baptist Church of Lake Wales is also hosting a Virtual Night to Shine. Visit the FBCLW’s website to register.

Stay in communication with your Team Lead for updates on your volunteer role, including pre-event duties, arrival times, dress code, etc.
VOLUNTEER ONLY IF VACCINATED
Due to the health vulnerability and for the safety of our Guests with special needs, we ask that you not register to be a Buddy or Support Volunteer on the night of the event unless you have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
SPONSOR A GUEST/DONATE
To make this wonderful drive-thru and virtual event a success, we are in need of financial support. The cost for each guest to attend Virtual NTS is about $50.00 a person. We do not ask for our Guests to pay for anything. Each Guest receives a corsage or boutonniere, a crown or tiara, a snack bag, fun noise makers, gifts for parents, and a gift bag with momentums of Night to Shine 2022 all wrapped up in a beautiful gift box. You can either sponsor a Guest or donate to the event as a whole.
