Gloria

Gloria

One of the most beloved of Antonio Vivaldi’s compositions, Gloria in D Major, RV 589, written around 1715, will be paired with British composer John Rutter’s ambitious Gloria, composed in 1974, for presentation in a marvelous evening of choral music that spans the centuries.

Florida Southern College’s choral groups, the Concert Choir and the Chamber Singers (Beth Gibbs, conductor), will merge for this special event with singers from Southeastern University and First Presbyterian Church (Dan Gordon, conductor) and will perform at First Presbyterian Church.  Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Parker Street Ministries, one of FPC’s mission partners.
