Learn How You Can Grow and Serve at FPC!
Everyone comes with a personal faith journey, special gifts, and specific life situations. What makes a church like FPC so great is the rich variety of ages, interests, and opportunities to grow and serve! So we aren’t looking for “cookie-cutter” church members who are all doing the same things and filling the same roles. We want to know what makes YOU special, and help you plug in to the unique opportunities at FPC which match your spiritual development, time constraints, and unique abilities.
God made you, and hardwired in to you special spiritual abilities so you can fill your important place in His world! Do you know your spiritual gifts? The first step is to download, print and fill out FPC’s “Spiritual Gifts Inventory.” Read the Bible materials and instructions, then reserve a little bit of time to complete the inventory in the comfort of your home.
Download the Inventory Total Sheet to transfer your answers from the inventory, and use the key to discover which spiritual gifts are your highest!
Then, download, print and fill out the “Using Your Spiritual Gifts To Serve” questionnaire. Be as specific as you can about sharing your abilities, talents, past experiences and areas of opportunity and interest you see at FPC.
When you’re done, put the questionnaire in an envelope marked “Assimilation Coordinator” and bring it by the church, or mail it to Assimilation Coordinator, First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Dr., Lakeland, FL 33801. You will be contacted to set up a consultation to discuss your unique gifts and interests, and how you can plug in to opportunities to grow and serve at FPC!
