You are invited to be part of a fabulous and unforgettable prom night experience, centered in God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.
On February 10, from 6-9 p.m., First Presbyterian Church will host Night to Shine, which is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation. We are honored to be able to host this evening and honor these special guests.
We have filled all of our volunteer Buddy and Support Volunteer positions, and we are grateful for the overwhelming response from the community.
Night to Shine Buddies and Volunteers will receive notification of a date on which they will receive a brief orientation and specific training to prepare for the big night. Night to Shine Buddies will be required to submit to a background check. You will need to print the Authorization form (Click Here to Download), complete it and return it to FPC by Jan. 27.
Planning for this unique event is a collaborative event between FPC, North Lakeland Presbyterian Church, and Chapel in the Grove. Night to Shine is about more than one night. It is our hope that individuals with special needs will feel valued and welcome in a community of faith.
Admission to the event is strictly limited to registered Guests and their parents, registered Buddies, and registered Support Volunteers. Members of the media may contact Joyce Barclay.
