HIS Company, a Christian Community Theatre sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, is holding open auditions for persons age 15 and up on Friday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 20, at 10:00 a.m. in the Multi Purpose Room at First Presbyterian Church, 175 Lake Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, in preparation for a fall production of Thornton Wilder’s, “Our Town.” The cast will consist of approximately 15 males and 5 females plus extras. The rehearsal schedule for this show will begin the week of July 5. Production dates are set for September 24, 25, and 26 at 7:30 p.m. and September 27 at 2:00 p.m. Perusal scripts will be available upon request.
This classic drama is performed with permission by Samuel French, Inc. and takes place in Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire in the early 1900’s. In three acts we visit families through life and death. The Artistic Director for HIS Company, Pastor Dick Huggins, announces that Amber Grubb will once more take on the responsibilities of Director and will be assisted by Terri Nicotera.
